Thebackpacker.tv is trying to provide good content on backpacking, and bring you the latest video’s on trails throughout the Country. I want to thank our readers for hanging in there while the site grows and we experiment with site design and new ways of bringing video’s to you. To this point, thebackpacker.tv is taking quite a few page views during the day, and our subscribers are growing everyday.

Originally, I decided to use WordPress as a engine for this site. It gives us the options of using many different plugins written for WordPress, and lets our readers interact with stories that we write. Because of this, we have decided to change the design of the site completely. Bare with us in the next week or so, as we try and find the perfect fit between our readers, subscribers, and our Backpackers. I want to personally thank Richard Curry of Tek-Works for assisting with the site. (late at night sometimes) I hope you enjoy the new site.

Feel free to contact me at any time. Started Backpacking in 2003 and have never looked back. My all time favorite hike was last April when I hiked the Sycamore Wilderness Canyon. No trails, no signs, just wilderness and a 3,000 foot steep drop into the Canyon. I ran out of water my third day. Why? There was no water in the Canyon. You can check out my video on the “backpacker.tv” page. Thanks for dropping by.
