Lighting a good fire when in the backcountry can be good moral booster on those lonely nights when you’re sitting around camp. Knowing exactly how to get a fire going can be crucial if you are in a situation when a fire needs to be a life saver. Most of the time we carry fuel, or aids to get a good fire going.
