Thousands each year attempt a thru-hike on the Appalachian Trail, but few go the distance. This is one of those few stories.

This is a twenty minute documentary of my thru-hike on the appalachian trail in the winter, spring and summer of 2008. My trail name is Start and I hiked with Pseudo and Two Shoes. We began our 2,176 mile journey on March 1st at Springer Mountain in Georgia and finished at Mt. Katahdin on August 13th. Trying to condense 5 1/2 months of material into twenty minutes was tough, so prepare for a whirlwind of beard growth, dirtiness, silliness and a good time.
