In August 2009, Jason Gandy and Siobhan Towey, embarked on a 16 day, 200 mile hike to raise money for Project Main St., a non-profit organization dedicated to caring for people living with ALS (Lou Gehrig’s Disease). This 17 minute video shows that hike.

Jason and Siobhan, amateur outdoor adventurers, from Brooklyn, New York, will begin their journey in Yosemite National Park and travel through the unbroken wilderness of the Sierra Nevada’s. Along the way they will embark upon The John Muir Wilderness, Ansel Adams Wilderness, Sequoia National park, King Canyon National Park and end at Mount Whitney, the highest peak in the Continental US (14,495 ft).

100% of the proceeds raised by this event to will be used to support individuals
living with ALS (Lou Gehrig’s Disease).

For more information on this video and fundraiser go the Project Main Street Web Site – . The $20,000+ that was raised all went towards easing the financial burden for ALS patients and their families.

Thank you all who donated!
