This beautiful remote area offers mountain vistas, waterfalls and clear mountain streams and is a sanctuary for black bears.
The 8,358-acre Big Frog Mountain Wilderness offers about 35 miles of backcountry trails. This natural setting provides outstanding opportunities for solitude and primitive camping, fishing and backpacking.
This hike was a loop hike that intersects with the Benton MacKaye Trail. Also hiked was the Licklog Ridge Trail #65
