Mt. Katahdin Appalachian Trail

Mount Katahdin in Maine is the end of the Appalachian Trail North, or the beginning if you are hiking Southbound. Either way, climbing Mt. Katahdin is an experience. There are a few things to know first.

This hiker explains some do’s and dont’s about climbing Mt. Katahdin. Really cool Video

Mt. Katahdin, the end of the Appalachian Trail and of my long journey. I made it. It took about 4 months of hiking in total, and a lot of grit and determination. This is not quite, the end of the story, though. I still need to recap a lot, including talking about how I changed in idiology, philosophy, and mood as the trail went on.
